Forces wanting to maintain status quo are terrified by the wave of change: Dr Tahirul Qadri
Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement, and Dr Tahirul Qadri, head of the Tehreek-i-Minhaj-ul-Quran talked about the preparations being made for the long march to be held on 14th January on telephone. They exchanged views on the emerging political situation in the country.
Mr Hussain told Dr Qadri that he had asked all those workers and office-bearer who could bear their expenses to leave for Islamabad without delay. He said that a large number of party workers had already reached in Rawalpindi and Islamabad along with their families. He said that preparations for the march were in full swing and people are donating generously for the march being held in Islamabad.
Dr Qadri told Mr Hussain that his workers were also preparing for the march with full zeal and vigour. He said that the march would definitely be held in Islamabad on 14th January, howsoever big the propaganda of the opponents may be. He said that the elements wanting to maintain the status quo were terrified at the wave of change sweeping across the country.
