KARACHI: Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain has hailed the address of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani to the armed forces on the Martyrs Day.
In a statement issued here, he said that Gen Kayani deserved to be praised greatly for expressing his point of view on highly sensitive issues in a bold manner.
Altaf further added that Gen Kayani had proved that he was a courageous and fearless soldier who was always ready to defend the country.
The bold statement of Gen Kayani gave a new hope to the nation, and it dissipated the mist of doubts, the MQM leader said.
“Gen Kayani raised the heads of the nation with pride by offering a brave and courageous stance. The entire nation salutes him and all other offices and men of the Pakistan Army”, said Altaf Hussain.
