LONDON. June 30, 2020:
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)‘s Coordination Committee acting convener Tariq Jawaid has said that imlucating MQM in attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in Karachi on June 29,2020 is highly reprehensible.MQM has nothing to do with that incident. In every case, the blind and fraudulent process of implicating MQM should be stopped.He said this in a video briefing. Coordinating Committee members Qasim Ali Raza, Mustafa Azizabadi and Arshad Hussain were also present on the occasion.
Tariq Jawaid said that under the policy of criminalisation of the establishment let go no opportunity of maliging the MQM. At a press conference,Sindh Police Additional IG Ghulam Nabi Memon and paramilitary Rangers Director General Maj.Gen.Umar Bukhari tried to implicate MQM in the attack on PSX.
He was of the opinion that all the political and religious parties chiefs including slain Benazir Bhutto, ex- President Asif Zardari,ex-PM Mian Nawaz Sharif,ex-Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif,JUI(F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, sitting PM Imran Khan have been condemning the atrocities and injustices against Balouch.Henceforth,MQM founder leader Altaf Hussain and MQM have also condemned the state atrocities against the Baluch nation. He said that the PM Imran Khan not only supported the armed struggle of Balouch people but also supported them while appearing as a witness in the case of two Balouch youths in a British court in 2009;He said that if he were a Balouch and his family members had been oppressed,he'd take up arms and do what Balouch youth are doing today.
Javed said that Imran Khan in a TV interview also supported the demand for independence of Balouch but on this basis he has never been blamed for the actions of Balouch but the MQM has been mugned and is fraudulently alleged of a attack in PSX, MQM strongly condemnes.He said that MQM wants to make it clear that the party has nothing to do with the PSX incident. In the past also such false allegations had been leveled against MQM and MQM leader Altaf Hussain.Such slanders will not end the love of Hussain from the hearts of the people.
The oppressed people, under the leadership of Hussain will continue to fight peacefully for their rights.
He asked the right-wing people not to listen to false allegations and maintain unity in their ranks.
He said that Balouchs, Mohajirs and Sindhis are demanding their legitimate rights but are being arbitrarily arrested and enforced to disappear. For many years, missing persons have been subjected to inhumane torture in the custody of Army, Rangers and FC, by extrajudicial killings. Their bodies are being dumped mutilated. Incidents of desecration of Balouch and Sindhi mothers, sisters and elders during raids and arrests have become a daily occurrence.Courts and media are restricted to dispense justice and carry the stories of plights if the oppressed nations in Pakistan.
He questioned that when the resources of Balouchistan and Sindh are seized and the people are treated worse than slaves, when they will be extrajudicially killed for demanding rights, forcibly disappeared, the oppressed Balouch will be thrown from a helicopter, mothers, sisters and elders will be brutally murdered, Balouchs will be evicted from their homes, innocent Balouch students demanding their basic right to education will be attacked, they will be brutally tortured so won't these atrocities create feelings of hatred? He said that Prof. Dr Hassan Zafar Arif, Asif Pasha, Syed Ali Raza Abidi, Niaz Lashari and others were brutally killed but no one has given justice to their families till date. He said that awareness was created among the oppressed and deprived people. The malicious and notorious propaganda can't be successful to suppress the liberation movement that has set in and no matter to what scale the atrocities and injustices soar. Liberation is all set and no matter a bit delayed but it will come true soon.
