Former Parliamentarian of MQM Nisar Ahmed Panhwar arrested
by Para Military Rangers from Gulistan e Johar Karachi

Former member of National Assembly Nisar Panhwar has been arrested by
Para Military Rangers from his house in Gulistan Johar Karachi on Monday late night.
According to the family members, at 3:20am more than a dozen Rangers
vehicle including mobiles, private cars and motorcycles surrounded their house
and entered their house without any search warrant. Rangers personnel misbehave
with family members of Nisar Panhwar. When Rangers raided his house, Nisar
Panhwar was sleeping in his room. Rangers personnel taken Nisar Panhwar in
their custody and shifted him to a unknown place.
Nisar Panhwar ‘s residence is in Block 8 in Gulistan-e-Jouhar Karachi.
There was no case against Nisar Panhwar. He was twice elected as a member of
National assembly and provincial assembly on the ticket of MQM and he perform
as a provincial minister Sindh.
Arrest of Nisar Panhwar is taken place after the 116th
Birthday of G M Syed in Sindh and emerging harmony between Sindhi and Mohajir
nations for the rights of Sindh.
Muttahida Quami Movement MQM founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain has
strongly condemn the arrest of Nisar Panhwar and said that establishment has
intensified their state operation against MQM after announcement of joint
struggle for the rights of Sindh. He demanded immediate release of Nisar
Panhwar. Mr Hussain SOS appealed to the UN and International human rights organisation
to take urgent notice on this state brutalities against the members and
supporters of MQM.
