Prominent Sindhi nationalist leader and Chairman of Jeye Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM) Shafi Burfat has announced that Altaf Hussain,founder & leader of MQM (Muttahida Quami Movement) is the head of the exile government of “ Sindhu Desh”.
He made this big and important announcement yesterday in a live exclusive interview to a US based Urdu web TV “Meri Awaz Suno”.
Shafi Burfat called upon to the governments, policy makers and political leaders of the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Israel, India and entire international community that we are going to form the exile government of “Sindhu Desh” and MQM founder Altaf Hussain is not only the spokesperson but the head of the exile government of Sindhu Desh. He said that if international community want to get rid of terrorism, fascism, barbarism and evilness of Pakistan then they should accept our exile government and support us for independence. He further said that those who wish to support us for the independence of Sindhu Desh, then they should hold dialogue with Altaf Hussain who is our leader in the struggle of independence.
Shafi Burfat said that India is our neighbour and we specially appeal to the Indian government and their leadership that, accept the exile government of Sindhu Desh and support our struggle for the independence of Sindh.
Shafi Burfat said that we unanimously agree on the name of Mr Altaf Hussain and Sindhi nation unanimously accepted him as a leader of Sindh and we have started the struggle for the independence of Sindh under his leadership.
Shafi Burfat said that there is no doubt that Altaf Hussain is a great leader and history has set the role of Mr Altaf Hussain who has dedicated his life to achieve the rights and independence of oppressed nations. He stressed on all Sindhi nationalist groups to come forward to achieve the goal of Sindhu Desh under the guidance and leadership of Altaf Hussain. He further said that this is the requirement of the time and for the national unity of one nation of Sindh that Altaf Hussain should be the head of exile government and entire Sindhi nation should accept this decision with whole heartedly and unite behind Altaf Hussain.
Shafi Burfat’s JSMM is a big Sindhi nationalist organisation in Sindh which is struggling for the independence of Sindh according to the ideology of Ghulam Murtaza Syed known as GM Syed, a pioneer of Jeye Sindh Movement for the independence of Sindh from the clutches of Pakistan and the Punjabi dominated establishment. After the death of GM Syed in 1995, Jeye Sindh Movement divided in many factions, Shafi Burfat’s Jeye Sindh Muttahida Mahaz or JSMM is a the largest and influential nationalist group in Sindh which is practically struggling on ground for independence. Shafi Burfat now in self-exiled in Germany for few years and continuing his struggle from there. Shafi Burfat and other nationalist leaders are persistently in contact with MQM founder & leader Mr Altaf Hussain to expedite the movement of independence of Sindh.
