Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) founding leader Altaf Hussain has said that Pakistan has
now turned into Punjabistan and in this very Punjabistan no other oppressed
nation including Mohajir, Sindhi, Balouch, Pashtun, Seraiki, Gilgiti,
Baltistani or Kashmiri can survive. Henceforth, all these oppressed nations
have to unite under one platform to rid of this Punjabistan and avail their
freedom.
He expressed these views in his
special address to Sindhi nation through social media.
He said that the founder of
Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah had once stated that Pakistan would never be a
theocratic state and that was unacceptable to the English Rulers of the
undivided sub-continent India and hence the English Rulers used Generals of
Punjabistan army to remove Jinnah successfully. Khan Liaquat Ali Khan was
Pakistan’s first elected Mohajir Prime Minister and was right hand of Jinnah
and the demonic military f Pakistan also assassinated him in Liaquat Bagh in
Rawalpindi. It was the demonic military establishment that accepted division of
Pakistan and did not accept the public mandate and suppressed rights of other
nations.
He said that in General Yahiya’s
tenure, Bengalis had obtained larger public mandate but Yahiya did not accept
their mandate. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was reared and raised by military
establishment and he used to call dictator general Ayub his father. Yahiya had
despite Awami League’s sweeping victory did not agree to transfer power to it
because it was dominated by people of the East Pakistan – now Bangladesh.

Bengal was their territory while Pakistan was his – Oodhar Tum – Idhar Hum. It

changed the demography of Sindh in order to topple the elected government of NWFP

He said that Mohajirs and Sindhis
were living a peaceful life in the province and it was the military of Pakistan
that chalked out a plan to divide them and bring them face to face. That plan
was finalised in GHQ under which Bhutto tabled linguistic bill in Sindh
assembly and in 1972, first ethic clash between Sindhis and Mohajirs occurred.
Bhutto imposed Quota System to widen the division between Mohajirs and Sindhis
further. Quota System was only for Sindh and the rest of the country did not
know about it. It was all done in order to keep Sindhis and Mohajirs at
confrontation so that Punjabis should keep enjoying the perks and should not
look at oppressive steps of Punjabistan.

The MQM founding leader told
Sindhi intellects, writers, and political workers that they should now realise
that Sindhi “Waderas are puppets to
Punjabi military and are enemies of Sindh and they have conspired against Sindh
soil so as to leave it as a satellite colony of Punjab.” They have done
nothing for Sindhis and Sindh soil till date. They have not established any
school or hospital in Sindh and instead they are treating Sindhi masses as
their slaves. They are working on the agenda of Punjab so the people of Sindh
must not make a blunder considering them as their friends.
While addressing Sindhi lawyers,
intellects and writers that they should calculate whether Sindh is a free
province or a satellite colony of Punjab? Sindhis should ponder whether they
are the owners and beneficiaries of natural resources such as oil and gas or
the ghoulish military of Punjabistan. They should see whether Sindh Police
Chief – Inspector general of Police is from Sindh or from Punjab and all chiefs
of key institutions are whether from Sindh or from Punjab. Are Sindhis being
recruited in Rangers and army or they all come from Punjab. People of Sindh
have to see whether they would continue to live as slaves of Punjab or not or
they would like seeing Sindh a free state.
He urged upon Sindhis that they
and Mohajirs should now unite under one platform and fight their common enemy
together.
He told them that he is a
legitimate son of Sindh. He asked them to support him. “If Sindhis would support him, he would make them free from the
clutches of Punjabi ghoulish military establishment. There is no other option
left.”
