after Benazir was killed in Rawalpindi, terrorists were green-signaled to
complete the agenda of PPP, ISI and Taliban terrorists. Terrorists from PPP,
Taliban and ISI set 1200 cars and bikes of Mohajirs on fire. They set
factories, shops, markets, banks, filling stations and property of Mohajirs on
fire. Dozens of innocent Mohajirs were targeted and assassinated and Mohajir

Muttahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Founding leader Altaf Hussain said that
December 27 tragedy was one well-planned conspiracy against Mohajirs hatched by
a consortium of Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Taliban
faction Baitullah Mehsud group and Inter-Services intelligence (ISI). The
widespread acts of arson and carnage were sharply executed on December 27, 2007
in Karachi and other Mohajir dominated cities in Sindh by the terrorists
belonging to PPP and ISI-trained terrorists.
This he said in his message
through social media channel, “We are Altafists.”
He was of the view that brave
nations always remember their past and make ways forward. Similarly, the arson
and carnage at the hands of terrorists belonging to PPP and ISI on December 27,
2007 is so painful and unforgettable tragedy in Mohajir history.
On that day, PPP Chairperson
Benazir Bhutto was assassinated at Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi following which
terrorists belonging to PPP, Taliban’s Mehsud group and ISI-trained terrorists
wreaked havoc in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and other Mohajir
dominated cities in Sindh.
He deplored that “Terrorists from
PPP, Taliban and ISI set 1200 cars and bikes of Mohajirs on fire.” They set
factories, shops, markets, banks, filling stations and property of Mohajirs on
fire.” “Dozens of innocent Mohajirs were targeted and assassinated and Mohajir
women were molested, robbed and raped.” MQM offices and residences of MQM
leaders and workers were attacked, looted and set ablaze.

He asked why PPP, Taliban and ISI
wreaked havoc in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, etc, while Benazir was
killed in Rawalpindi and why Karachi and other Mohajir dominated cities were
chosen for speedy reaction. Were they Mohajirs who killed Benazir Bhutto?
He revealed that soon after PPP
formed its government in 2008, it released all the perpetrators and cases were
dismissed. Sindhis have to ponder as why Karachi and other Mohajir dominated
cities in Sindh were chosen as target cities in reaction to Benazir’s murder in
Rawalpindi.
He paid rich tribute to those
Mohajirs who were assassinated on December 27, 28 and 29, 2007.
Hussain said that he is fully
confident and well-informed that December 27, 298, 29 arson and carnage was a
well-knitted conspiracy against Mohajirs and Asif Ali Zardari, Taliban’s Mehsud
group and ISI were the three partners who knitted that conspiracy and executed
it as consortium. They had executed their plan of killing Benazir Bhutto and
they had alerted their paid and trained terrorists to show severe reaction in
Karachi and other cities and that they had already provided weapons and
chemical that was used on setting vehicles and properties ablaze in seconds.
He claimed that, “Soon after
Benazir was killed in Rawalpindi, terrorists were green-signaled to complete
the agenda of PPP, ISI and Taliban terrorists.”
He said that when Mohajirs
prepare them for paying homage to their martyrs at the Martyrs’ Monument,
paramilitary Rangers seal the entire area and use guns to check Mohajirs from
reaching the Martyrs’ Monument but on December 27, 28 and 29, 2007, the demonic
army, paramilitary Rangers, other armed forces and Police went missing from the
scene like donkey’s horns. In fact, ISI and Military Intelligence (MI) had
collectively masterminded that December 27 arson and carnage. Terrorists trained
by ISI, MI, PPP Jialas and Taliban Mehsud’s faction executed that arson and
carnage tragedy in Karachi and other Mohajir dominated cities in Sindh.
He said that in order to bring
Sindhis and Mohajirs close to each other, MQM entered coalition with the PPP but
the PPP Waderas (Feuds) are in real enemies of Mohajirs as well as Sindhis
because they are ISI’s puppets and power hungry wolves.
He urged upon Sindhis and
Mohajirs to come close to each other and launch a common struggle of ridding
from the clutches of the Punjabi elites and establishment, together.
He wished for freedom for
Mohajirs, Sindhis, Pashtuns, Balouchs, Seraikis, Gilgitis, Baltistanis,
Hazarwals and Kashmiris of Pakistan occupied Kashmir.
