Mr. ALTAF HUSSAIN INSCRIBES NEW PAGES IN HISTORY: CCC LAUDS HIM
LONDON. Oct 10, 2019: MQM founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain has penned down new pages in history of Pakistan after he raised the issues of extrajudicial executions, enforced disappearances and arbitrary arrests in Pakistan by the military Establishment.
According to media reports, Mr Hussain had appeared in Westminster court here in London for bail. The Judge of the court, a lady Judge, informed Mr Hussain conditions that followed grant of bail in Mr Hussain’s favour. Amid the situation when the details were being told to Mr Hussain regarding his onward compliance that he would not use social media for his speech or statements, he stood up from his seat and sought Judge’s permission to speak something that would have pertained to his bail and adhering conditions.
He apprised the lady Judge of the Westminster court that his followers and party workers have been facing genocide at the hand of the Military of Pakistan. His workers and followers are facing there in Pakistan, arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances and even extrajudicial executions by the Military of Pakistan. He said that amid such a horrible situation it was very difficult to stay silent.
The lady Judge listened to him very attentively and asked the counsels of both sides, defense and prosecution that they should review their stances on the freedom of speech and inform her accordingly.
People inside the court watched that courageous stance of Mr Hussain with great astonishment.
CCC LAUDS MR HUSSAIN: Meanwhile, MQM’s Central Coordination committee (CCC) has lauded Mr Hussain for his courageous stances he took in Westminster court regarding the extrajudicial executions, enforced disappearances and arbitrary arrests of MQM workers in Pakistan.
The CCC in its statement said that the MQM founder and leader Mr Hussain has devoted his life for the struggle for the rights of Mohajir Nation that is passing through tedious time sin Pakistan and even facing genocide.
It said that Mr Hussain has never been idle for a second during his 27 year long struggle for the rights of Mohajirs in Pakistan and even he faced arrests here in London during his three decades long life in exile.
It said that Mr Hussain had appeared in the Westminster court where he had not forgot to raise the issue of extrajudicial executions, arbitrary arrests, enforced disappearances of his workers in Pakistan.
The CCC said that Mohajir Nation is proud of their beloved leader Mr Hussain.
