Take notice of activities of Rangers in Karachi who are collecting information about office bearers and members of MQM’s Women Wing: Rabita Committee

It is not in the interest of the country to push loyal Mohajirs to the wall by state’s repressive measures.

Rabita Committee has made a demand to the Prime Minister Nawaz, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Shareef and Federal Minister Chaudhry Nisar to take notice of activities of Rangers in Karachi who are collecting information about office bearers and members of MQM Women Wing.
They have expressed their fear and concerned in letters addressed to these persons.
“Cases of kidnapping for ransom, robberies, mobile phone and car snatching are growing at an alarming rate. It is shocking that Police is not taking action against the terrorists belonging to banned outfits who have openly claimed responsibilities for the murders of policemen. Instead of taking action against them, police and rangers wing’s personnel are raiding Muhajir neighborhoods and arresting innocent young men and collecting information about members of MQM’s Women Wing.”
“We make a demand to the prime minister, federal interior minister and army chief to investigate into this report. Why are police and rangers collecting information innocent people and women belonging to MQM? They should be preparing list of criminals. Why are they preparing this list and who have ordered them to do?”
Rabita Committee warned it was not in the interest of the country to push loyal Muhajirs to the wall by state’s repressive measures.
