SA COMMUNIST PARTY LEADER CALLS FOR IMMEDIATE LIFT OF EMBARGO FROM ALTAF HUSSAIN
Solly Mapaila assures MQM, its chief Mr. Altaf Hussain of unwavering support; vows to keep raising voice of concern on atrocities on the Mohajirs at the hands of Pakistan’s military forces
MQM South Africa (SA) Unit commemorated party’s 34th Foundation Day with passion and devotion. MQM founding leader Mr. Altaf Hussain addressed that august event, which was the prime part of the event.
SA Communist Party First Deputy General Secretary Mr. Solly Mapaila, Johannesburg Ward 58 Councilor Mr. Elax Christine, Al Jamia Part ex-chioef whip Abdul Razzaq Noor, Union of Araf Community, SA Mr. Hameed Habibullah, National Ethopian Community of SA Chairman Navavi Habib, Union of Nigerian in SA General secretary Prince Adisina Luqman, African Diaspora Forum President Mark Gabakofu, African Diaspora Forum General Secretary Prince Abengi, Yemeni Association of SA Chairman Ahmed Abu Hamid, mortinian Association South chief Syed Muhammad, MQM SA Organising Committee members, MQM affiliates, men and women, and dignitaries graced the event with their presence.
The large number of participants had flooded the Lal Qila.
The speech of SA Communist Party First Deputy General Secretary Mr. Mapaila was heard with due attention as he showed complete solidarity with the Mohajirs of Pakistan facing atrocities at the hands of state and its military forces. He categorically slammed the government of Pakistan and military establishment for an illegitimate embargo on publication and telecast of speech, talks and pictures of Mr. Altaf Hussain and demanded the government of Pakistan to immediately remove the embargo.
Mr. Mapaila assured the MQM chief that his party and him do stand shoulder to shoulder with them amid this ongoing crisis and would keep raising voice of concern on afflictions of the Mohajirs at the hands of state of Pakistan and its military forces.
The event was also addressed by MQM CEC member Muhammad Saleem, International Human Rights Attorney Adil Ghaffar, MQM SA Organiser Rashid Menai, Al-jamia Party ex-chief whip Abdul Razzaq Noor and Councilor Elax Christine. the speakers highlighted atrocities on the Mohajirs at the hands of Pakistan’s military junta and law enforcement forces under command of military junta, arbitrary arrests, and extrajudicial executions.
earlier, at the commencement of the event, the audiences welcomed MQM Chief Mr. Hussain very warmly and cordially. Cakes was cut and dinners was served to the distinguished guests.
