Coordination Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement has given a peaceful strike call in Sindh today over the extra-judicial killings of a young party worker Muhammad Hashim.
Muahmmad Hashim was the member of Unit 164 Liaquatabad was going to his house from Nine Zero on the evening of May 6, when Rangers arrested him and put him in unknown place. His whereabouts were not known. His family filed a petition in the Sindh High Court for his recovery. On which an FIR was registered on July 28 on the orders of SHC as a missing person.
After three months of his captivity Hashim's body was found from Jamshoro area. His body has already been buried by Edhi .
MQM has vehemently condemned the extra judicial killing of Hashim and has given a strike call for today in Sindh Province. MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has also endorsed the strike call given by the party's Coordination Committee.
