Karachi being deprived of economical rights: Dr Khalid Maqbool

The MQM Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that Karachi is never being given its appropriate rights despite the economical hub not only for Sindh but also for the entire country.
The Deputy Convener, while addressing to the gathering of Council of Professional at a programme held at Defence. He said that Pakistan was in a critical situation and to save it from more crises, there should need to create new administrative units.
Dr Maqbool said that Karachi is being treated like a step-child by the government through generating 70 percent of the revenue but not even 10 percent of that revenue being spent in Karachi. He said that Altaf Hussain is the only leader who stood for the right of the city.
He said that the educated youth of Karachi were completely being neglected and their merits were never endorsed by the authorities. He said that only the youths could bring the country out of all crises and they should be given authority to tackle the issue through local bodies setups.
