The 4th death anniversary of MQM Convener and “Shaheed-e-Inqilab” Dr Imran Farooq was observed with religious reverence by Muttahida Quami Movement in the entire country and MQM international units.
The main congregation of the death anniversary was organised at Lal Qila ground near Nine-Zero, where the parents of Dr Imran Farooq, his sister, his relatives, members of MQM Coordination Committee, office-bearers, workers, supporters and residents attended the programme.
The participants recited the holy Quran for his and other martyrs’ forgiveness. While, the prominent religious scholar Maulana Asad Deobandi offered Dua and prayed Almighty Allah to bestow him high rank at the eternity.
Meanwhile, the connecting programmes were also organised by MQM various Units and Zonal offices, including Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar, Mirpurkhas, Umar Kot, Sanghar, Nawabshah, Badin, Dado, Thatta, Naushero Feroz, Khairpur, Sukkur, Gothki, Shikarpur, Qambar Shuhdadkot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Upper Punjab, Central Punjab, Lower Punjab, Quetta, Naseerabad, Peshawar, Dera Ismail Khan, mansehra, Abbotabad, Muzzafarabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The members of Coordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar and Abdul Haseeb along with Dr Imran Farooq’s father Farooq Ahmed including Provincial Ministers, Parliamentarians and workers visited the graves of Dr Imran Farooq and other martyrs. They also offered Fateha for their eternal peace.
