Hazara community is grateful to MQM leadership for their overwhelming support for the Hazara province
Tehreek-e-Sooba Hazara’s leader Baba Haider Zaman telephoned Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s leader Mr Altaf Hussain and supported his demand for the creation of new provinces in Pakistan.

Baba Haider Zaman said he completely agreed with Mr Hussain that neighbouring countries and other countries across the world created new provinces and administrative units, and Pakistan, whose population has reached 20 crores, has only four provinces even after 67 years of independence. He added that people of Hazara had been struggling for a province for many years. “In their struggle for a province seven people from the Hazara community were martyred and 80 others were injured. We did not get justice.”

Baba Haider Zaman said that Hazara community was grateful to the MQM leadership for their overwhelming support for the Hazara province and tabling a resolution in the assembly for this purpose. They are stilling support the rights of oppressed people.

He said that the formation of new provinces is the need of the time and he supported Mr Hussain’s stance on the issue. “By Allah’s will, new provinces will be created,” Baba Haider Zaman said.

Talking to Baba Haider Zaman Mr Hussain that MQM completely supported the rights of Hazara community. “MQM had present the resolution in the National for Hazara Province and it is with them in their struggle. We condemn injustices committed against the Hazara community. We have always raised voice for the repression against the oppressed people. I will do this till my death,” Mr Hussain said.
