ALTAF HUSSAIN’S VISION HAS THE SOLUTION FOR THE ECONOMIC PROBLEMS OF THE COUNTRY: DR FAROOQ SATTAR
Noted business personalities from Karachi Mr Feroze Alam Lari, Mr Saeed Usman, Mr Sadiq Muhammad Mr Muhammad Rehan have joined Muttahida Quami Movement after expressing full confidence in the leadership and political philosophy of Mr Altaf Hussain, the founder and leader of the MQM. They made this decision after recognizing the practical efforts made by the MQM for the development and progress of the country.
They made this decision in a press conference at MQM Head Office Nine Zero in the present of Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar and member Mrs Nasrin Jalil. Provincial ministers Abdur Rauf Siddiqui, Adil Siddiqui and Chairman Rawalpindi Chambers of Commerce Mr Mian Muhammad Atique were also present on the occasion.
They said that the business community in the country has always been looked upon as timid, but it was the need of the hour to support the MQM openly for the sake of the country. They said that they had been supporting the MQM for a long time, but the failing economic situation of the country has forced them to realize that if they did not support the MQM, there would be no one to look after Karachi, the centre of economic activity in the country.
They said that the MQM leader Mr Altaf Hussain has always supported the business community, and he always remains in contact for bolstering the economic situation.
Earlier Dr Farooq Sattar welcomed the business personalities on behalf of Mr Altaf Hussain for joining the MQM. He said that the business and industry were of utmost importance for any nation and country. In the modern world, the sovereignty and freedom of any nation are directly dependent upon these two vital departments as the economy guides the politics.
Dr Sattar said that the vision of Mr Altaf Hussain has the solution for economic problems of the country. The MQM has been working for strengthening the economy, and positive results would soon come out before the nation.
