MQM's referendum will be an important step in the direction of changing the destiny of the country: Altaf Hussain

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the public referendum announced by the MQM would be an important step in the direction of changing the destiny of country and bracing it for facing challenges in the world. He asked the people to take active part in the referendum and express their opinions. He said this while talking to the members of the Co-ordination Committee at Nine Zero. 

Mr Hussain said that the referendum would be of utmost importance and it would help in changing the destiny of the country because educated, enlightened and patriotic people, including students would express their opinions as to what type of Pakistan do they want. 

Mr Hussain said that Pakistan was encircled by many problems and we want to pull it out of these problems. The referendum announced by the MQM can infuse a new spirit in the country that is caught in the throes of innumerable problems. He said that it would go a long way in strengthening the position of the country and put it on the path of progress and prosperity. 

Mr Hussain said that the MQM's referendum would give a message to the those who were casting an evil eye on Pakistan that the people of Pakistan were firmly united for protecting their country. 

Mr Hussain appealed to all patriotic to take part in the MQM's referendum for saving the country. He urged on them to spare some time and express their opinion of the referendum day.
