MQM offers co-operation for eradicating polio in the country
A four-member delegation of the WHO held meeting with members of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM inLondon. The delegation comprised MNA Dr Azra Pechoho, Director Polio Operations and Research Dr Hamid Jafri, and Team Leader for eradicating polio fromPakistan DrAliceDevray and National Co-ordinator for Polio campaign Dr Altaf Hussain Bosan.
The MQM side was represented by In-charge of the International Secretariat Mr Mustafa Azizabadi, Joint In-charge Qasim Ali Raza and members of the Co-ordination Committee Mr Muhammad Anwer and Mr Tariq Jawed.
The WHO delegation shed light on the efforts being made by the WHO for eradicating polio inPakistanand other countries of the world. They said that the WHO was facing difficulties inPakistan,IndiaandNigeriabut the organization was carrying out efforts to overcome the problems.
