Altaf Hussain condemns Irshad Mastoi’s killing

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the assassination of General Secretary, Balochistan Union of Journalists, Irshad Mastoi including his three colleagues of the news agency.
In a statement issued from London, the MQM Chief said that the attack was surely against the spirit of freedom of expression. He said that it was an attempt to stop journalists doing their jobs fairly and tried to terrorize the entire fraternity, which was the symbol of social liberty.
Mr. Hussain also appealed to the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Muhammad Malik and other concerned authorities to take notice of such conspiracies. He also appealed for safety of the other journalists and demanded to immediately arrest the culprits and should be brought to the justice.
