Altaf Hussain condemns blast near office of the peace committee in Darra Adam Khel

Elements involved in bomb blasts, violence and bloodshed want to create instability in the country
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the explosion at the office of the anti-Taliban peace committee in Darra Adam Khel area of Kohat. He expressed his grief and sorrow on the deaths of several persons in the deadly blast in which many other sustained injuries.

Mr Hussain said that the elements that were spilling the blood of innocent people by carrying out bomb blasts were enemies of the country and humanity, and they were working on the agenda destabilize the country. He said that the perpetrators of the bomb blasts, violence and bloodshed were cowardly and lost in darkness. Their cowardly acts of terrorism were bringing Islam into disrepute, which is a religion of peace.

Mr Hussain extended sympathies to the grieving families of the people who lost their lives in the blast and asked them to bear with patience. He also prayed for the divine forgiveness of all the people killed in the explosion.
Mr Hussain appealed to President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik to take serious notice of the blast in Darra Adam Khel resulting in the death of several innocent people. He said that the government should make every effort to provide security to the people and bring the culprits swiftly to justice.
