President Asif Zardari telephoned MQM founder and leader Mr Altaf Hussain and congratulated him on the success of the historic public meeting of women. He said that the public meeting would augur well for the politics of the country and termed it positive development. Both the leaders also discussed the coming senate election and the general political situation of the country. They agreed to work together for meeting the challenges facing the country. Mr Hussain also thanked President Zardari for the good-will gesture in the senate elections.
