I want to save the country from the clutches of fake Islamists: Altaf Hussain

Time has come for the people to step forward and save their country
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that he wants to save the country and free it from the clutches of so-called and fake Islamists, their terrorism and their sponsors. He said this while talking to prominent human rights activist Mrs Asma Jahangir and president of the South Asia Free Media Association (SAFMA) Mr Imtiaz Alam on the telephone.
Mr Hussain said the time has come for the people who love the country and who believe in the dignity of mankind to step forward for saving the country. He said that he would make an important address on 14th October. The enlightened and liberal people of the country pay attention to his assertions as he would speak about saving the country.
Both Mrs Jahangir and Mr Alam agreed with the views of Mr Hussain and assured their full co-operation. Mr Hussain also offered condolences to Mrs Jahangir on the death of her mother.
