Ishaq Dar extended invitation to the MQM for attending the National Security Conference
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain and Federal Minister for Finance Mr Ishaq Dar have discussed in detail the overall political and economic situation of the country on telephone. Mr Dar extended invitation to the MQM for attending the National Security Conference being held on Saturday. He thanked Mr Hussain for the arrival of the MQM delegation for meeting the prime minister and the principled stance taken by the MQM.
Mr Dar praised the role of the MQM and Mr Hussain for promoting democracy, strengthening of the parliamentary institutions and for the upholding of the Constitution. He said that the MQM was playing a praisworthy role for democracy.
Mr Dar said that under the directions of the prime minister the Federal Government wanted to resolve all issues politically by holding dialogues and the National Security Conference was a step in that direction.
Mr Hussain thanked Mr Dar for inviting the MQM and added that it was the need of the hour to resolve all political issues by holding dialogues and mutual understanding. He said that political differences must not lead to a point from where it would become difficult to return.
