MQM visits Metropolitan to cater rain after-effect

On the directives of MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain, Deputy Convener Engr. Nasir Jamal along with members Coordination Committee Saif Yar Khan and Dr Saghir Ahmed visited the rain-affected areas of North Nazimabad Town.
 
The Deputy Convener said that the metropolitan has to suffer during natural calamities due to non-existence of local bodies system. He said that it was just start of the monsoon season and the city turned to be disastrous phenomena.
 
He demanded to conduct local bodies’ election to maintain the metropolitan accordingly to the problems and the appropriate hands could provide better facilitations to Karachiites. He expressed his deep concerns over not taking adequate measures to coup the rain after-effects.
 
The Deputy Convener said that the entire city seemed to be inundated with rain water and no management could be seen to tackle the situation. He demanded the government to clean all the rain nullah immediately to facilitate Karachiites at the time of crisis. He also prayed for rain-related deaths and condoled the bereaved families.
