HRCP delegation visits Nine-Zero

A delegation of  Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) led by former chairperson Asma Jahangir visited MQM headquarters Nine-Zero and Khursheed Begum Secretariat Azizabad.
 
Members Coordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar, Nasreen Jalil and Kanwar Khalid Younus received the delegation. In the meeting, both sides discussed the ongoing operation in North Waziristan, assistance for IDPs, restoration of peace, extra-judicial killings of MQM activists, their kidnappings and undue arrest.
 
They also discussed the political, social and economical situation of the country. While, members MQM Coordination Committee welcomed the HRCP delegation at Nine-Zero and briefed them about the human rights violations.
