APMSO hosts annual Iftar-dinner

APMSO hosts annual Iftar-dinner
 Posted on: 7/19/2014
All-Pakistan Muttahida Students Organisation (APMSO) has hosted an Iftar-dinner at Alig Lawn Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Saturday.

Members MQM Coordination Committee Haider Abbas Rizvi, Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui, MNAs, MPAs, Vice-Chancellor Federal Urdu University Dr Zafar Iqbal, President Arts Foundation Muhammad Faisal Nadeem, President Sindh Teachers’ Forum Aziz Madni, Chairperson Women Studies University of Karachi Nasreen Aslam Shah, professors, actors, journalists, APMSO & MQM activists, and people from other walks of life were also present on the occasion.

Talking to the gathering, MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said APMSO is the only students’ organisation which produced a huge political party which is now third biggest in the country. He said MQM was continuously being elected by urban areas of Sindh for the last three decades but unfortunately it was never allowed to do justice with its huge mandate.

He said MQM is not Karachi only political party because it had its parliamentarians in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Assemblies and Altaf Hussain’s philosophy had already been spread all over the country. He suggested APMSO activists and students that they should build their characters and always show positive attitude to others.

MQM Parliamentarian Muzammil Quraishi said that national and international conspiracies were knitted against MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and tried to stop his philosophy to spread all over the world. He said MQM workers and supporters always followed Mr Hussain’s teachings and kept serving the humanity despite their ethnic or communal belongings.
