Member European Parliament, Chairman EU Human Rights Committee and member foreign affairs Amjad Bashir visited MQM London Secretariat and met with Senior Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat and others.
Nadeem Nusrat presented him a bouquet on behalf of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and felicitated him for being elected as member of European Parliament. Member MQM Coordination Committee Tariq Javed, Muhammad Anwar, Wasay Jalil, Mustafa Azizabadi and former provincial minister Raza Haroon were also present on the occasion.
Amjad Bashir, is a senior member of UK Independent Party, discussed on various issues with MQM delegation, including Pakistan-Britain relations, country’s political and social situations and expatriates Pakistanis participations in Europe, especially in UK. He also offered his well-wishes for MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and appreciated MQM’s political philosophy and active participation in national politics.
Meanwhile, Senior Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat congratulated him and his others for grand success of UK Independent Party in European Parliament. He also suggested that expatriates Pakistanis should effort to reconcile country’s soft image on international level.
He said MQM Chief Altaf Hussain had been struggling for a system of equality for the entire nation without racial discrimination, ethnic, regional, sect and religious biasness. He said Altaf Hussain always emphasized on equal rights for everyone and no discrimination should be imposed on the basis of any differences.
