Deputy Convener MQM Coordination Committee Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said July 6th rally will challenge terrorists and will declare our disassociation from terrorism and extremism.
Talking to media at Jinnah Park, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said army stood for the nation and nation stood for its army at any time. He said the July 6th rally at Jinnah Park would be the initiation of the fight against terrorists. He said the entire nation wanted to deliver a goodwill gesture to outside world by sacrificing fight against those monsters.
He said the rally actually endorsed the nation’s loathing to terrorism and expressed its determination to uproot it from country’s soil. Deputy Convener Nasir Jamal, members coordination committee Haider Abbas Rizvi, Syed Aminul Haq, Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui, Babar Khan Ghouri, Rashid Godal, Dr Saghir Ahmed, Saif Yar Khan, Iftikhar Akbar Randhawa, Aslam Afridi, ex-MNA Wasim Akhtar, MNAs and MPAs were also present on the occasion.
He said number of caravans from the entire country had started their journeys to participate in the July 6th rally. He said army soldiers and officers had been sacrificing to protect not only country’s physical border but also virtual borders and trying to eliminate terrorism and extremism. He said July 6th rally in Ramazan reflected the patience. The mass gathering of hundreds of thousands would post a new record when they offered Iftari meal, he added.
