Damaging public property would have no effect on the makers of the sacrilegious films.

It will only hurt the country and fellow citizens

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has once again condemned the sacrilegious film and appealed to the people to refrain from damaging government and public property while getting their protest registered. He said that violent protests and damaging public properties would have no effect on the makers of the wicked film and their supporters. It would only harm the country and fellow citizens.

Mr Hussain urged upon President Asif Zardari to raise the issue of the highly inflammatory and disparaging film forcefully in his address to the General Assembly of the United Nations. He asked him to condemn the film in the strongest possible words and inform the world community about the sentiments of the nation. He said that a resolution condemning the denigrating film should also be introduced in the General Assembly.

Mr Hussain appealed to the international community to strongly condemn the incendiary film. He urged upon the people to register their protest in a forceful manner tomorrow while observing the “Youm-i-ishq-i-Rasool”. He asked them to send memorandums to the United Nations, member countries of the Nato and OIC and express their sentiments in a peaceful manner.
