Traders’ delegation calls on MQM Deputy Convener

A delegation of Supreme Council of All Karachi Traders Association led by Chairman Atiq Mir called on MQM Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and members of Coordination Committee Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui and Babar Ghouri.
The delegation strongly condemned the brutal murder of MQM MNA Tahira Asif in Lahore. Chairman Atiq Mir said MQM Chief Altaf Hussain always raised his voice in favour of traders and condemned kidnapping of traders for ransom and extortion. He also said MQM always stood with the traders at the time of crisis and testing.
The Chairman said the association between MQM and traders affinities was the great need of the time and communication should be more affective to resolve various problems. He suggested to form a coordinating forum named ‘MQM-Traders Coordination Committee’ to get in contact with the MQM leadership and traders.
Atiq Mir said MQM was the only political party which representing 98 percent, especially poor and disadvantaged people. He said it always stood against the discrimination and suppression and raised voice for the innocents.
MQM Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui thanked to the delegation and ensured all out support for the traders to run their businesses in economical hub. He said traders were the backbone of any economy and always played pivotal role in the country’s progress.
