Sacrilegious depiction of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) cannot be tolerated by the Muslims

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has drawn the attention of President of the United States Mr Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary General of the United Nations Mr Ban Ki-moon and Secretary General of the OIC Mr Ekmeleddin on the inflammatory film ridiculing the religious sentiments of the Muslim by depicting the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in a scornful manner. He has asked them to take serious notice of the mocking film that has bruised and hurt the religious feelings of the Muslims throughout the world.
In his urgent telegrams sent to the four leaders, Mr Hussain has said that the film portrays the life and the character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in an extremely negative and disparaging manner which cannot be tolerated by the Muslims. The film has sent a wave of anger and protests in the entire Muslims world and hence fierce protest demonstrations are being held in different cities of the world.
Mr Hussain appealed to Mr Obama, Secretary Clinton and Mr Ban Ki-moon to understand the feelings of the Muslims that have been hurt by the film and asked them to ban the film immediately. He said that the film was a conspiracy to spark hatred among the followers of different religions in the world.
Mr Hussain said that action should be taken against the elements behind the making of the film as they have violated the charter of the United Nations and international norms. He said that the wicked film was aimed at destroying the world peace.
Mr Hussain appealed to the world leaders to condemn the film and use their influence for ensuring dignity and respect to all the world religions in conformity with the charter of the United Nations.
Mr Hussain said that he and his party MQM believed in inter-faith harmony, mutual respect of religions, and the world peace. He said that Islam and other religions should be shown proper dignity and respect in order to ensure peace and tranquillity in the world.
