The brutal murder of an elected member of National is a barbarity and frightening cruelty.
Former President General Pervez Musharraf called MQM’s International Secretariat and expressed his sympathies and condolences with Mr. Hussain over the martyrdom of Tahira Asif.
“The brutal murder of an elected member of the National is a barbarity and frightening cruelty.  This brutal murder is highly condemnable, “Gen. Pervez Musharraf said to Hussain.
He expressed his deep condolences with Mr. Hussain, MQM’s office bearers, workers and bereaved family members of the martyred MNA.  He prayed to Allah to give Tahira Asif High place in Paradise and give strength to family members to bear the loss. He prayed his killers would be brought to justice. 
Mr. Hussain thanked the former president for sympathies and condolences. He told the former president MQM’s MPA Haider  Raza, Manzar Imam, Sajid Qureshi and his son were brutally murdered.  He added that his killers killed her after verifying her identity. 
He said that killings had failed to frighten MQM’s leaders, office bearers and workers. He added that they had always confronted the difficult times with bravery and would carry on their struggle against injustices.
