Allama Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek paid his deepest condolences to MR Altaf Hussain on the brutal murder of Mrs. Tahira Asif, MQM Member of the National Assembly at the hands of barbaric terrorists in Lahore over the telephone from Canada. He further said that this incident deserves severest condemnation and all the leaders and workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek are in solidarity with the MQM during this testing time and demanded the immediate arrests of the perpetrators. He prayed for the salvation of Mrs Tahira Asif and paid condolences to the bereaved family members.
