Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Rabita Committee has expressed great concern over the raids and arrests of MQM workers and supporters from different parts of Karachi.
“Rangers have arrested workers affiliated with Nazimabad-Gulbahar Sector Unit 180. Names of workers are Sohail, Wajahat, Adnan Zaidi, Fahad Iftikhar, Khurramm Rashid and supporter Umar. They have also arrested Muhammad Nadeem a worker affiliated with Landhi Sector Unit 86. We demand protection for their lives and if they are involved in cases they should be presented in the court, “ Rabita Committee said in a statement released from Karachi.
Rabita Committee has demanded that efforts should be made for the protection of arrested workers and they should be released if they were not involved in any cases forthwith.
