MQM’s innocent workers were arbitrarily arrested and subjected to torture and killed extra judicially.
The funeral prayer of MQM’s martyred worker Muhammad Ashfaq Qureshi was held at Korangi Road.
Dr. Farooq Sattar, Saif Yar Khan, Adil Khan, Mian Atique, MPA Waqar Hussain Shah, members of different sectors and units and Haq Parast people attended the funeral prayers.
Talking to media representatives on the occasion Dr. Farooq Sattar said that MQM’s innocent workers were arbitrarily arrested and subjected them to torture. He added that MQM workers were killed extra judicially and their mutilated bodies were dumped in different areas.
Dr. Farooq Sattar said that Muhammad Ashfaq were arrested with three worker by plain-cloth policemen. He added that his three friends were released after brutal torture and Muhammad Ashfaq were forcibly disappeared by the police.
He said that we made contact with DG Rangers, IG Sindh and other officials for his recovery. He was killed extra judicially. This is a highly condemnable act. The brutal act has infuriated MQM workers.
Dr. Farooq Sattar demanded and action from prime minister, federal interior minister, governor Sindh, chief minister Sindh and IG to arrest his killers and brought to justice.
Muhammad Ashfaq Qureshi was buried amid sobs and wails in MQM’s Martyrs graveyard.
