It seems that law and order ceases to exist in Karachi: Co-ordination Committee
Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of a worker of unit 56 of the MQM PIB Sector Muhammad Mujahid. He paid tributes to the deceased worker for his services to the party and said that the killers would not be able to escape divine punishment. He condoled with the grieving family members and asked them to bear with patience and perseverance. He assured them that their pain was shared by him and each worker of the MQM. He also prayed Allah to shower his blessings on the soul of Muhammad Mujahid.
Meanwhile, the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM has strongly condemned the brutal murder of Muhammad Mujahid and has termed it a part of the nefarious conspiracy to undermine the law and order situation in Karachi. “Bloodthirsty terrorists are working on a well-planned conspiracy to sabotage peace in Karachi in order to destabilize Pakistan.”
“It seems that the law and order ceases to exist in the city, and innocent citizens have been left at the mercy of hardened criminals and terrorists which is highly condemnable.”
The Co-ordination Committee sympathized with the bereaved family and prayed for the divine blessings of the departed soul. It also demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice of the killing of Muhammad Mujahid by terrorist elements. It urged them to arrest the terrorists and bring the killers to justice.
