Rabita Committee strongly condemns the delaying tactics and flimsy excuses given by the Interior Ministry

If the interior minister did not give up his biased attitude then people will come out on the streets.
A joint meeting of London and Pakistan Rabita Committee was held to discuss the NICOP and passport applications submitted by Mr. Hussain. The participants of the meeting strongly condemned the delaying tactics and flimsy excuses given by the Interior Ministry. 
“First, they gave a flimsy excuse that they don’t have any record of Mr. Hussain’s applications. In another occasion the spokesman of the ministry of interior said Mr. Hussain did not fulfil the requirement. When MQM supplied all the evidence to media regarding submission of the application for NICOP. The Federal Minister for Interior come up with another excuse that Mr. Hussain’s data has been deleted. When MQM’s Haider Abbas Rizvi informed the Prime Minister about the case and he directed the Federal Interior Minister to look into the matter. Federal Minister said that picture of Mr. Hussain has corrupted in the database file, “ Rabita Committee said.
“It appears that Federal Interior Minister has made it a matter of ego and creating hurdles. His biased actions towards Mr. Hussain has angered his supporters and people. If he did not stop his biased attitude and deprived Mr. Hussain of his basic right then people will come out on the streets in protests, “ Rabita Committee said.
Rabita Committee demanded that President and Prime Minister take notice of the matter and issue the NICOP card.
