The government and opposition leaders should display seriousness, patience and tolerance: Altaf Hussain

The prime minister should show magnanimity and play a positive role to end the conflict between the government and the opposition.
The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has made an appeal to the government and opposition leaders to display seriousness, patience and tolerance as the country is passing through a difficult time.
He especially urged the prime minister to show magnanimity and play a position role to end the conflict between the government and the opposition in a peaceful manner.
Mr. Hussain said that it is the legal and democratic right of political parties to organize public gatherings and take out rallies to press for their demands. He added that prime minister should allow opposition parties to stage protest demonstrations and organize public gatherings. He added that should not use undemocratic and illegal tactics to disrupt them.
Mr. Hussain said that the prime minister should show he has a regard for democratic values. He also appealed to opposition parties they must show that they only want to register their protest and should not resort to illegal tactics for that. 
He has also asked Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to look into the complaints raised by the opposition parties that the government has ordered transporters not go rent their buses to opposition parties and closure of petrol pumps.
