Journalists have played important role during Pakistan movement: Altaf Hussain

Journalists in Pakistan are performing their duty despite difficulties. 
The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has said we cannot deny the importance of journalists and media in today’s world. He added that journalists has played important role during Pakistan movement and they have also contributed a lot in the development of the country. 
He said that the nation knew they had rendered supreme sacrifices for the country. He added that MQM lauded their sacrifices and positive role. 
“In today’s world we get the news about events and tragedies which happens in different parts of the globe in seconds because of journalists’ efforts. Journalists in Pakistan are performing their duty despite that they don’t have facilities and support like journalists in other parts of the world. Their work is commendable, “ Mr. Hussain said this in his special message on the occasion of the International Day of journalism. 
Mr. Hussain paid great tributes to journalists who were killed in the line of duty. He prayed to Allah for their forgiveness and high places in paradise. 
He praised journalists who do unbiased reporting and present facts. He said that this day should be celebrated with a new resolution that journalist will perform their duty in responsible way and use their energies for the welfare of Pakistan and Pakistanis.
