Pakistan Protection Bill 2014 violates basic human rights: Senators 
MQM has started contacting opposition parties to win their support for the rejection of the Protection of Pakistan Bill 2014.
MQM’s Parliamentary Leader in the Senate Babar Khan Ghori has contacted Senate’s opposition leader Aitezaz Hasan, Awami National Party’s leader Haji Adeel and Senator Kamil Agha belonging to Muslims League (Q) and discussed the bill passed by the government in the National Assembly. 
Senator Babar Ghori has termed the Protection of Pakistan a draconian law and said that MQM would register its opposition on every forum. 
Senators Aitezaz Hasan, Haji Adeel and Kamil Agha agreed with the MQM’s stance on the bill and said that they would oppose the bill in the Senate. The leaders agreed that Pakistan Protection Bill 2014 violates basic human rights and promised to take a joint action to challenge the bill in the Senate.
