Only the oppressed knows the pain of the oppressed
MQM Rabita Committee members Yusuf Shahwani and Nisar Pinhwar met with the Chairman of ‘Voice for Baloch Missing Persons’ Mama Qadeer Baloch on the direction of Mr. Altaf Hussain to express solidarity with them at the Karachi Press Club. This organization is campaigning for the victims of enforced disappearances in Baluchistan. They expressed sympathies with the family members of the disappeared persons. MQM’s Baluchistan Committee’s in-charges and members, and MQM’s elected representatives were also present.
“MQM has been experiencing state repression for a number of years. Thousands of our workers have been killed. A number of our workers have become victims of enforced disappearances. Their family members are still praying for their return. MQM can understand your feelings and sufferings because we have experienced state repression, “ Mr. Yusuf Shahwani said to Mama Qadeer.
“Mr. Altaf Hussain was the first person to raise voice over the repression and exploitation of the Baloch. He regards the oppressed Balochs as his brothers. Our pains are similar. We are also going from door to door for the recovery of our loved ones and seek justice like you.  We are constantly asking authorities and people in power about them. Unfortunately, we receiving the bodies of loved ones. Only an oppressed knows the pain of the oppressed.  That’s why we are here to show our solidarity with you, “ Mr. Yusuf Shahwani said.
The Chariman of the Voice for Missing Persons thanked Mr. Hussain and said He had been raising his voice for the Baloch.
