It is the responsibility of the government and people to look after the families of the martyrs
The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has demanded that the government should create a ‘Martyr Fund’ to help the families of personnel of armed forces, rangers, FC and police. Personnel of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies are laying down their lives for us. He added that it was our responsibility to look after them and provide financial assistance to them. He said that MQM was ready to play its role in this connection.
“When these security personnel and jawans embrace martyrdom, statements are issued for a couple of days, but no one comes forwards to support the family members of martyrs and help them financially. It is the responsibility of the government and people to look after the families of the martyrs who lay down their lives for us. I demand that the government create a “Martyr’s fund’. The government and philanthropists should donate generously in the fund. MQM is ready to play its role in this connection, “ Mr. Hussain said.
