MQM condemns the murders of five people in Orangi town

 Posted on: 2/20/2014
The tragic incident occurred because of inefficient police
MQM’S Rabita Committee has expressed condemnation of the firing incident in Orangi town by terrorists, which resulted in the deaths of five people, including a local leader of Awami National Party.
They said that the tragic incident occurred because of inefficient police.
In a statement released from Karachi,  Rabita Committee said, “ The growing incidents of firings and killings in Karachi is a cause of great concern and it raises questions on the performance of police and law and enforcement agencies. On the one hand political workers are being arrested and subjected to inhuman torture, but on the other, terrorists are killing innocent people and political workers. The murder of local ANP President is an example of lawlessness in the city. The prevailing situation of the city is highly condemnable.”
Rabita Committee expressed their heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family members of the murdered people, including the family of ANP leader and urged them to remain calm and composed and not to respond to provocations.
They made an appeal to the Prime Minister, Federal Interior Minister, Governor and Chief Minister of Sindh to take action against the terrorists responsible for the killings of these people and prosecute them.
