Altaf Hussain’s philosophy alone can bring revolution: Amin-ul-Haque

 Posted on: 2/20/2014
Muttahida Qaumi Movement Coordination Committee’s Member Syed Amin-ul-Haque said here on Thursday that the motive behind the Muttahida’s struggle was not to change faces but to change the system and Altaf Hussain’s philosophy alone could bring revolution in the country.
This was stated by him at a meeting of MQM Central Punjab held in connection with re-organization of the party’s Central Punjab’s 13 districts at the MQM Punjab House.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Haque said that Altaf Hussain’s revolutionary vision guaranteed the country’s prosperity and stability and the need of the hour was to launch a practical struggle by implementing philosophy of the MQM chief.
He said that exploitative section of the society getting perturbed over MQM’s popularity in Punjab was creating hurdles for the party in Punjab.
He said that although an uncalled for and unfair propaganda to malign MQM and its chief was under way, the conscientious people of Punjab, Alhamdolillah, knew that Mr Hussain was the only leader who could steer the country out of all the crises.
At the outset, Mr Haque lauded the MQM’s office-bearers and workers for remaining steadfast in the difficult times.
Speaking on the occasion, the Coordination Committee Member, Abdul Haseeb said that the MQM was the only party in the country which helped youths of the country to become members of its elected houses and got powers transferred to grass-root level.
He said that the caravan of Haq Parasti that began its journey from a 120 square yard house has now reached in every nook and cranny of the country, saying that survival and stability of the country could be ensured only by getting rid of prevailing feudalism and hereditary politics.
Mr Haseeb said that Mr Hussain wanted to make Pakistan strong and prosperous in accordance with the ideals of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
Another Member of the Coordination Committee, Mian Atique, said that all the religions gave the message of humanity and the MQM was the only party which believed in serving humanity because there was no bigger thing than service to the humanity.
He said that there was a time when there was no one in Punjab who could even take MQM’s name but owing to Altaf Hussain’s teaching that all people should be served irrespective of their cast, colour and creed, the Muttahida’s flag has now been fluttering across the country.
He said that Mr Hussain has always wished that people belonging to all nationalities and religions living in the country should enjoy equal rights and they all should work for the survival of the country by forgetting all sorts of hatred.
MQM was the only party in the country that had always raised voice for the rights of women, he said, adding that people of Punjab knew that problems being faced by the country and Punjab could only be resolved by Mr Hussain.
The meeting was also addressed, among others, by a member of MQM central executive council and a former president of Central Punjab, Ms Bisma, Asif Sukhera, former MPA, Zareen Majeed and MNA Begum Tahira Asif.
Later, Mr Haque announced the names of the newly-elected office-bearers of 13 districts of Central Punjab Committee and also that of Central Punjab Committee.
The newly-elected office bearers of MQM Central Punjab Committee are: Mohammad Amir Baloch (President), Iqbal Quraishi (Senior vice president), Rana Ashraf advocate (General Secretary) whereas Irtaza Kazmi, Wahid Ahmed Gujjar, Muhammad Zahid Khan and Dr Imran Mallih were elected president, senior vice president, general secretary, respectively, of the MQM Lahore district.
On this occasion, rich tributes were paid to the former president of MQM Central Punjab, Ms Bisma and Asif Sukhera, for their untiring efforts for the movement.
