The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has expressed grief and sorrow to the Deputy Convener of the MQM Dr Khalid Maqbool on the sad demise of his father Maqbool Hussain Siddiqui. In a condolence message, Mr Hussain extended sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul. He also prayed Almighty Allah to give patience to the relatives to bear the irreparable loss.
Mr Hussain comforted Dr Maqbool on telephone and said that late Maqbool Siddiqui and other members of the family faced innumerable problems and hardships during the repressive state operation against the MQM. He prayed Allah to accept his sacrifices.
Deputy Conveners of the Co-ordination Committee Nadeem Nusrat, Engr Nasir Jamal, Dr Nusrat Shoukat, other members of the committee, parliamentary leader of the MQM in the National Assembly Dr Farooq Sattar, parliamentary leader of the MQM in the Senate Babar Ghouri, leader of opposition in the Sindh Assembly Faisal Sabzwari, parliamentary leader Syed Sardar Ahmed, all senators, MNAs, MPAs and office-bearers of the MQM also condoled with Dr Maqbool on the death of his father.
