Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and Senator Rehman Malik meet Altaf Hussain in London

Senator Malik conveyed well wishes from President Zardari
 Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and former Interior Minister Senator Rehman Malik held a detailed meeting with the Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr Altaf Hussain in London. Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat was also present on the occasion. The meeting was held in a pleasant atmosphere and the need for unity among political parties and people was stressed upon keeping in view the internal and external challenges facing the country.
The need for promoting understanding and ending the environment of animosities was also underscored in the meeting. It was also agreed to promote better relations between the PPP and the MQM for combating terrorism and extremism.
Governor Sindh Dr Ebad informed Mr Hussain about the challenges confronting the country and stressed on the need for promoting better relations between provinces and the federation. He said it was necessary to get united by rising above all political expediencies for the larger interests of the country.
Senator Malik conveyed the message of well wishes of former President Asif Ali Zardari to Mr Hussain. He also expressed his well wishes to Mr Hussain who appreciated his role for establishing the environment of reconciliation.
