Muttahida Bain-ul-Muslimeen Forum’s chief slams Peshawar blast
 Posted on: 1/16/2014
Muttahida Bain-ul-Muslemeen Forum’s President, Maulana Tanveer-ul-Haq Thanvi and other members, have strongly condemned the Thursday’s bomb blast at a Peshawar’s Tableeghi centre in which a number of faithful were killed or maimed.
Describing the heinous crime as `inhuman’, Maulana Thanvi, in a statement issued on Thursday, said that some forces were bent upon creating anarchy in the country by fanning sectarian hatred and targeting mosques, Imambargah, shrines, important buildings and public places including security forces’ personnel.
Terming the Peshawar’s horrible blast `a chain of such inhuman acts’, he said that such heinous crimes must be highly condemned.
He said that though no religious hatred existed among people, all barbaric acts were being committed to achieve some specific nefarious designs and it was part of a deep-rooted conspiracy.
He deplored that although the terrorists through their acts of targeting mosques, Imambargahs, Tableegi centers and other places of worship have been openly challenging the writ of the government and the law-enforcement institutions, there are differences between the government and opposition which, he added, was a matter to ponder over.
“It is high time that both the government and opposition should assemble on a platform so as to chalk out a comprehensive strategy for bringing a logical end to terrorists, or else no would remain safe from terrorism in the country, he added.
Urging the government to take immediate notice of the bomb blast, he also appealed to the Ulema of all sects to play their role in the interest of the country and demonstrate unity so as to foil anti-Pakistan conspiracies.
Earlier, Maulana Thanvi, prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and give courage to the members of bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude. Ends…
