Qamar Mansoor’s father laid to rest

 Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s central Information department’s member and a former Sindh Minister Qamar Mansoor’s father Abdul Ghafoor Siddiqui was, on Thursday, laid to rest at North Karachi’s Muhammad Shah graveyard amid moving scenes in the presence of hundreds of grieved relatives, friends and the party’s office-bearers and workers.
The deceased was also father of a member of MQM’s Nazimabad-Gulbahar Sector, Masood Siddiqui.   
The funeral prayers of late Siddiqui was earlier offered after Asr prayers at North Karachi’s Jamia Masjid Bilal.      
Both the funeral and burial ceremonies of the deceased was attended, among others, by MQM Coordination Committee’s deputy Convener and In-charge of the party’s Information department, Engineer Nasir Jamal, Coordination Committee’s members , Amin-ul- Haque, Muhammad Wasay Jalil, Tauseef Khanzada, Saif Yar Khan, Abdul Haseeb, Kaif Al-Wara, Khalid Sultan, Ashfaq Mangi, Syed Shakir Ali, Inbisat Malik, Leader of opposition in Sindh Assembly, Faisal Subzwari, Haq Parast legislators, Abdul Waseem, Rehan Zafar, Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan, Jamal Ahmed, Waseem Quraishi, former ministers and MPAs, MNAs, office-bearers of Karachi Tanzeemi Committee and members of the MQM’s different departments, workers and office-bearers of North-Karachi and Nazimabad-Gulbahar sectors, besides a large number of people belonging to different walks of life, including office-bearers of journalists’ organizations, representatives of print and electronic media.
Soyem of the deceased would be held after Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid Bilal Masjid while arrangements for women have been made at his residence, located in North Karachi’s Sector 11-C-1.
