MQM will pay tribute to Chaudhry Aslam and his colleagues on 18th January

Floral wreathes will be laid at the place where the unfortunate incident took place
The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has said that a day will be observed on 18th January to pay homage to the martyred SP CID Chaudhry Aslam and his colleagues. Floral wreathes will be laid at the location on the Lyari Expressway where the unfortunate incident took place. A candlelight vigil will also be held in order to pay tribute to the martyred police officers.
The Co-ordination Committee appealed to members of the civil society, lawyers, and general public to arrive at the place of martyrdom of Chaudhry Aslam on 18th January at 5:00 pm and pay tribute to him by laying floral wreathes and burning candles.
The Co-ordination Committee also appealed to the police officers and men to pay tribute to their martyred colleagues and express determination that they would also exhibit same courage and bravery for the country and the nation.
The Co-ordination Committee said that Chaudhry Aslam and his colleagues had laid their lives while defending the country against terrorists and the entire nation salutes them.
