Members of MQM Rabita Committee Dr. Farooq Sattar, Ashfaq Manghi, Yusuf Shawani and Aslam Afridi have said that today’s mammoth public gathering not only kicks off campaign for local Government election campaign but also starts off a decisive struggle against injustices.
They said that narrow minded people who held prejudice against MQM had started the same old propaganda against MQM that MQM wanted to break the country.
They expressed these views all addressing today’s mammoth public gathering at Aladin Park.
Addressing the participants of the public gathering Dr. Farooq Sattar said that the success of today’s public gathering told us that MQM’s chairman would be elected in the local government elections. He added that MQM would make the network of circular railway in Karachi and basic issues and problems of Sindh’s people would be solved.
Haider Abbas Rizvi said that he would like to remind MQM bashers that they blamed the party for Jinnahpur conspiracy which was proved false after 17 years.
“Our forefathers had struggled for 200 hundreds years. They were sent to Kala Pani Islands as punishment for their struggle. We have given 20 Lakhs lives for Pakistan. We know the value of Pakistan. We are labeled us unpatriotic despite our supreme sacrifices. This should stop know, “ Haider Abbas said.
“ Karachi’s people have proved today that they are with Altaf Hussain. People who are dreaming a ‘Jiyala Mayor’ of Karachi should look at this mammoth gathering, “ Rabita Committee member Aslam Afridi said.
Addressing a so-called champion of Pakhtoon cause, Aslam Afridi said, “ Not only Pakhtoons, Sindhis, Balochis, Seraikis and Punjabis are also present in large numbers in the gathering. “
“You can usurp the rights of Haqparast people by state machinery and repression. You can grab their resources for long. Altaf Hussain is the undispusted king of oppressed people of Sindh and Pakistan. The oppressed people will get their rights under his leadership. Altaf Hussain is not alone. People belonging to all ethnicities support him. I would like to tell people who are oppressing people under the pretext of operation in Karachi. They would stop the repression. Otherwise, people will rise up against you, “ Yusuf Shahwani said.
Ashfaq Manghi said while addressing the gathering, “ we are the sons of Sindh. Nationalists and People’s Party should stop the politics of hate and conspiracies. The government of Sindh has failed. They are conducting raids on our offices and arresting innocent workers. They think we are weak. Altaf Hussain is not diving Sindh. It is the PPP that is diving Sindh because of its divisive politices.”
“Nationalists have shown cowardice by attacking Urdu speaking Sindhis. These nationalists kills mothers and sisters in the name of Kari. They commit the heinous acts daily. Altaf Hussain has rightly said that PPP has failed to give rights to people in the rural Sindh, “ Heer Soho said.
