Actions taken by Mr Altaf Hussain, the Founding Leader of the Movement, regarding the funeral and burial preparations for the deceased MQM member Shumaila Imran. #ShumailaImranRIP Altaf Hussain reached out via telephone to Dr Faisal, the High Commissioner of Pakistan, to seek the necessary NOC and additional support for transporting the remains of the late Shumaila Imran back to Pakistan. The Pakistani High Commissioner pledged to provide as much assistance as possible from the High Commission to facilitate the return of Shumaila Imran’s remains. Altaf Hussain is overseeing all arrangements for mourning at the home of the grieving family, as well as for the funeral and burial services in both London and Pakistan.
